BECOME A PARTNER
Elevate-Glasgow has been designed to provide employability opportunities for individuals in recovery from problematic drug and/or alcohol misuse. The partnership uses an asset based approach to bridge the gap from treatment and care to sustainable recovery, emphasising the positive contribution that individuals can make to the personal, social and economic wellbeing of their community and to Glasgow as a whole.
One of the key features of the PSP is the link from treatment to volunteering to education and, ultimately, employment. The partnership has successfully brought together these core elements to deliver recovery orientated training/employment experiences with the emphasis on the individual’s previous life experiences as an asset rather than an insurmountable barrier.
Open & Target Progress
There will be an Open Process all year round for any organisations who wish to join. In addition, the Steering Group will agree strategically where gaps may exist, or where greater expertise in a particular specialism may be needed, and target recruitment to address.
Applying for Membership
The protocol for applying for membership is as follows:
Organisations should email their complete applications to elevate@glasgowcouncilonalcohol.org
